Values like these were embodied, emphatically showcased at the Para Powerlifting Championship 2025–2026 organised by Divyang Para Sports Association of Delhi held on December 27th, 2025 in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium New Delhi.
Vijay Overseas was privileged to be associated with this esteemed tournament and to witness a gathering of such inclusivity, determination and inspiring spirit of the Divyang athletes. The championship was a gathering of athletes who came together with the same respect for strength in its most raw, real state.
Plan’s Strong and Inclusive Platform
Para powerlifting is more than just a sport – it is a demonstration of brave hearts, spines and souls. The athletes that are competing at these championships were also very courteous, focused and mentally strong which was really inspiring for all of us.
By being part of this function Vijay Overseas again made its commitment towards sustainable growth and community participation. Catering the sports organisations which are in favour of Divyand Sportsperson has been quite to our core belief that each early human gets an equal chance to showcase his potential and talent.

Wheelchair basketball’s future has been shaped by leadership and commitment, as she has played a significant role in working to develop para sports and building inclusive sporting spaces.
We are also thankful to Shri Rahul Kasana, General Secretary of the Delhi Paralympic Committee who presented jaggery boxes to Shri Sanjay Awasthi, Additional Resident Commissioner Chhattisgarh. These instances brought to cooperation and collaboration leading to a complementary organisation of this significant championship and mutual resolve to honour excellence and service.

The Divyang athletes, who took part in the championship, are inspiration to all of us and proved that strength lies in determination and heart. Each lift, each attempt and every second on the platform represented months — sometimes even years — of training, sacrifice and ultimate determination.
Their stories are not only motivational for young sportswomen but also an inspiration for the society. Through events such as the Para Powerlifting Championship, we are furthering our commitment to dispel stereotypes and create an inclusive environment, while showcasing some of the extraordinary potential when opportunity and perseverance collide.
